A few of the comments we received from our recent Warrington meeting. This month we had a presentation from Lisa Watts who last year started her Arbonne business and she showed us some of the lovely quality products on offer. Each lady also walked away with a sample set of Arbonne’s RE9 Advanced skincare products. Lisa will be returning to Partnerships in Care Training Centre to display her wares again at one of their own forthcoming events so she got an immediate result there!

The business card draw winners this month were Louise Webster who took the bottle of fizz and Lisa Watts who has bagged herself a free place at a future event.

Cherchez Warrington - 26th January 2011

We really got the New Year off to a flying start in Warrington. Partnerships in Care was the venue again for another successful meeting which was well attended. There were plenty of new faces again and we signed up some new Members too which is great news.

We welcomed Rebecca Hancock to the Cherchez Team - Rebecca will be hosting the Warrington events for the foreseeable future and she took advantage of the 15 Minute Spotlight this month to present her own coaching business - Dream 2 Be Coaching - to the other ladies.

Cherchez Warrington - 15th December 2010

Well, the busy run upto Christmas and the harsh weather still managed to play a part in this month’s Warrington meeting, but despite being low on numbers, we had a really good meeting and the feedback was amazing yet again.

One of the ladies who attended, Alex Thomas, is launching a new business venture in cakes and she took the opportunity to bring a selection of her finest along to the meeting - to the absolute delight of the rest of us. They were unbelievably delicious!

Another big treat on the day was the presentation by Amanda Chadwick from Peninsula Business Services. Amanda is an expert on Employment Law and Health & Safety Issues and she certainly knows how to bring the subject to life with her clever and witty delivery of every day serious situations. Her short presentations at Manchester last month and now at Warrington this month certainly made you sit up and think!

Amanda will hopefully be presenting a full seminar for Cherchez ladies in the Spring and details will be posted as soon as they are available.

Cherchez Warrington - 3rd November 2010

The new venue for this month’s event proved really popular with the delegates. Partnerships in Care invited us to their training centre in Winwick and it was so convenient - literally just off the M62 and round the corner! We welcomed even more new faces this month and the feedback has been very encouraging yet again, so thank you ladies.

Based on last month’s feedback, Pam Case and Shona Penfold delivered a short presentation which was jam-packed with fantastic hints and tips for Using Linked-In for Business. We’re planning to roll this presentation out to our other groups in the coming months and there’s a chance that a full length seminar may be in the offing for the Spring. Keep your eyes open for more news on that.

We were also joined this month by Rachel Thomas from the Newlife Childrens Charity who bought along a few items to raffle off in support of the Charity. Jo Tabiner won two of the prizes - a Harrods Teddy Bear and a nice bottle of red wine and Therese Markham won a huge box of luxury choccies.

Pam and Shona were fittingly the winners of the two business card draws - Pam taking the bottle of fizz and Shona taking the free place at a forthcoming meeting of her choice. All in all it was a great event and I know some very strong contacts were made.

I’m looking forward to even more contacts now that we all know what to do with Linked-In!

Cherchez Warrington - 29th September 2010

Another well-attended and successful event in Warrington, led by my colleague Liz Booth from Raring2Go. This month saw Pam Case from PC Support Group taking the 15 minute spotlight who is a very experienced networker and a real authority on Linked-In. There was a fair amount of feedback from the delegates indicating that they would benefit from learning more about Linked-In. I’m hoping to put something in place to provide some training for meeting delegates going forward.

A double business card draw took place with Rebecca Hancock winning the bottle of bubbly and Chris Bullock winning a free place for herself at one of the forthcoming events of her choice.
