This page is designed to publicise a handful of Charity events that may appeal to all you Cherchez ladies. If you’re interested in pursuing anything, please get in touch with the nominated contact for each charity. Thanks!
Stockport Without Abuse
We are a local charity who offer a range of services to help and support women, men and children who are affected by domestic abuse. Everyone has the right to live their life free from fear, violence and abuse. Sometimes it is difficult to know what is happening and you can feel confused and unsure about whether you are in an abusive relationship and the options available to you. You may feel frightened, humiliated and isolated. Please visit our website below to find out more about our work.
Charity Calendar: ‘Who wears the trousers in your Business?’
This year we are hoping to provide a calendar for general sale and profits from those sales to be donated to a women’s charity that give help to vulnerable young women (charity as yet to be decided but could be Genesis and/or Victim Support).
In the meantime we are looking for women in jobs that you would normally associate with men i.e. mechanics, plumbers, electricians, gardeners, HGV drivers, decorators, builders, plasterers etc.. The photo shoot will be taken at a place of work wearing their work attire. We require 12+ ladies and there would be a group shot with some of the ladies we aim to help and inspire.
We are also looking for sponsors, lady volunteers and administrative assistance. Thank you.

Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children
Disabled children have been at the heart of Newlife Foundation since 1991 and we are the specialists for special children.
On a daily basis Newlife Foundation cares for all disabled and terminally ill children across the UK with a dedicated team of nurses, by providing grants for families to purchase vital everyday pieces of equipment, by funding medical research and by campaigning for a fairer deal for disabled children.
We can guarantee you that 100% of the money you raise will be spent on those who need it most, disabled and terminally ill children. We can even restrict your donation to your preferred county, for example Cheshire.

MENCAP - Tea With Me
Fancy holding a tea party in aid of MENCAP? You could get everyone to bring their own cakes, biscuits, healthy alternatives and make a small donation to Mencap, which provides much needed services to help people living in the North West with a learning disability.
We can provide information packs including fundraising tips, posters and invites which would help if you decide to get involved. I will also be here to help if you have any further questions or problems.
